One of Tennessee’s biggest exports

We visited this small, craft distillery in the old part of Pigeon Forge (see other pictures in this gallery). It was quite interesting as we’ve never been to a distillery before, and I had never seen a still in my life. This particular distillery produces a large variety of spirits, including moonshine, vodka, whiskey, rum and liqueurs. They call their variety of whiskey “Tennessee bourbon whiskey,” so I don’t know if the process of production is different from a giant like Jack Daniels, which produces “Tennessee whiskey,” or what. I read up a bit on it, but was a bit too complicated to explain here.

Sort of a Hollywood Mount Rushmore, posted earlier:

A fine capture of these really pretty bottles. I'd say it's dark enough to be bourbon. V.

the rich amber hues are captivating, and full of promise too...Bourbon seems to be a corn based whiskey, although doubtless various distilleries each have their own production secrets...tastes may vary, yet the ultimate kick is likely similar...

A very good picture of the product Helen
