Tidied up

Some of the tombstones are so old, they’ve fallen apart. At least somebody has tried to tidy them up a bit. The groundskeeper said there were plans afoot to restore some of these old monuments.

I’ll end this gallery here for now, but I’m sure we’ll be back, next time with a map so we’ll know where to find familiar names. Also because Sahraa loved it and would like to return. Thanks for all the interest shown in this historic and fascinating cemetery!

It's sad to see them fallen over. I hope they can be restored. V

I still think it's crazy they don't offer a pass for any dog owner who applies. They could double the price, and raise much more.

Cemeteries should kept in order just for respect.
