Ever since I first saw the ”American Eagle and Buffalo” sculpture, I have been fascinated with the eagle’s talons (maybe because I have been watching several live bald eagle cams), so finally decided to photograph them.
This will be the last photo in this gallery, at least for now. I wrote to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office to see if it was possible to get on the grounds of their Twin Oaks Estate, which is home to “Yellow Ox,” and they said it was open to the public two days a week (including a Saturday!) with reservations a week in advance. So perhaps I can visit and find another sculpture or two to photograph, plus see the estate, which I don’t think many people even know about, let alone have seen.
