One more azalea

We visited the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum at the National Arboretum, reputed to hold one of the finest collections of miniature masterpieces in North America, with bonsai originating from Japan and penjing from China.

Not a very pretty backdrop, but I was just fascinated by all the azaleas in bonsai form. I wonder if I could do that with my azaleas ;-).

The truth is that it is a gift for sight, and senses, and the richness of flowers is exquisite. Great catch, Helen! BV

Well to be honest, I like them more without the flowers. They seem a bit out of proportion for these litlle trees.
