I have often seen this building, which didn’t exist when we left Washington in 2010, on our way over the bridge to Virginia and have always meant to photograph it, but thanks to Jane’s recent picture of it, we decided to stop there and see what it looked like for ourselves. I did get in trouble from a guard for being on private property (although I am told this place is government funded), but did manage to at least get this shot. This is the kind of creative architecture I’d like to see more of here.
