I can’t believe I actually did this, but I went back once again to the “orchids: A MOMENT” exhibit at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. I don’t really have all that many pictures from this visit, but as I don’t have much else to work on except old captures, will continue this gallery for a little while longer. I hope people are not “orchided” out! I was a bit shocked this time because no botanist had come in to tend to the orchids, and there were at least three plants in very bad shape. Not so good for an exhibit like this.
I have tried again and again to get a picture of these bright orange orchids, which are at the very top of the display, but the color has always been problematic, as has their location. Anyway, this time I tried a different perspective and background.
