Waxy

I’m once again getting near the end of my pictures from the exhibit titled “orchids: A MOMENT” at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, unless I go back for a fourth time to see what new orchids are on view. I hate to overdo it, but there really isn’t much else to photograph in these dreary winter days, and I’m simply amazed at the variety of the blooms in the exhibit. I guess we’ll see ;-).

We are expecting a ferocious windstorm tonight, and the power has already gone out once. If I’m not around tomorrow, it’s because the electricity is gone.
