Shadowy orchids

I’m once again getting near the end of my pictures from the exhibit titled “orchids: A MOMENT” at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, unless I go back for a fourth time to see what new orchids are on view. I hate to overdo it, but there really isn’t much else to photograph in these dreary winter days, and I’m simply amazed at the variety of the blooms in the exhibit. I guess we’ll see ;-).

Perfectly formed, posted earlier:

As mentioned by Dave and Nora, the subtile shadows go so well with this capture.

Beautiful lighting on this wonderful capture. A well selected POV not only of the the flowers but also the play of light and shadows in the background. V
