In the spirit

From the historic Washington landmarks in the Garden Court, we moved on to the West Gallery, which housed an enormous Douglas Fir Christmas tree decorated with national park ornaments and a model of the Old Faithful Inn and geyser, along with the front of a locomotive for kids to play on.

The Christmas tree in the West Gallery, a Douglas Fir from Maryland that I read somewhere was the third largest Christmas tree in the country, although I’m not sure if that’s true or not.

It's a beautiful tree, I wonder what the criteria is for the size ranking.
