Tribute to the National Park Service

From the historic Washington landmarks in the Garden Court, we moved on to the West Gallery, which housed an enormous Douglas Fir Christmas tree decorated with national park ornaments and a model of the Old Faithful Inn and geyser, along with the front of a locomotive for kids to play on.

There was a little train running around the base of the tree.

colourful and resonant... fabulous image combining Xmas baubles with the NPS tribute...the mini-bison (tip of the hat to Yellowstone perhaps?) looks fierce..
