Halloween has certainly become a very big thing on Capitol Hill, perhaps because of all the families with young children who have moved here, unlike how it was when we bought our house in 1987.

Another festive house across from the early voting venue; I liked the police tape on the fence. I might put on one of my long black abayas this evening-for-trick or treaters – should be a perfect dress for the occasion!
