Sorry I have been out of touch, although I tried to catch up a bit last night after we arrived in DC (but was falling asleep at the computer).

All three of us survived a grueling day (had to be at the Portland airport around 4 a.m. to get Sahraa put in cargo for the flight), and arrived in DC at 4 p.m. and at the hotel around 7 p.m. This was Sahraa’s 10th flight; I think she has traveled more than some humans!

Anyway, pictured are Multnomah Falls, situated in Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge and split into upper and lower falls.
