Municipal parks and landscape center

Another unusual structure we have passed by on the highway many times but were unable to photograph (and couldn’t tell what it was, either). The other day we pulled off and investigated, although pictures were hard to come by as it’s still under construction and surrounded by a very difficult fence to see beyond. Tim managed to get a couple of captures through the fence.

Turns out it’s the General Department of Parks and Landscape Architecture, and it does look like a giant garden center in the picture shot from the rear below.

From the rear, posted earlier:

Fascinating architecture with great attention to detail. Even the lampposts are special. V

Strange, but maybe the metal construction serves as a sunblocker or to give shade.
