Abraj Atta'Awuneya

One of my favorite captures from Saturday’s outing to downtown Riyadh, maybe because I wasn’t in the car for once! This is the backside of the building below. I had never seen it before and was quite impressed, although some security person seemed a bit suspicious as to why I was photographing it (so I caught it from a distance when we were going back to our car).

The comical yet painful story of a falling turkey and a broken toe, plus the front of the building in the main photo, posted earlier:

Amazing building - i do wonder if the insides are as futuristic and angular as the outside- not a curve in sight. Ouch for the toe.
