We returned to Doha, Qatar, in March, right before our trip to Morocco, because I wanted to photograph more of the creative architecture there. Doha has to be my favorite city, and Qatar one of my favorite countries, in the entire Gulf region, not just because of the buildings but also because of the pleasant ambiance and friendly people.
This is the unusually shaped Emir Pavilion at Hamad International Airport, again heavily cropped since I could only take it from quite a distance. I have a picture of it from when we were leaving Qatar, but Tim liked this one better, so here it is.
