Sheer scale

The other day we were driving around southern Riyadh, not far from the DQ, to see what was there. I remembered having seen a very affluent neighborhood one evening a while ago and also wanted to revisit it in daylight. This will just be a series of captures of the houses there, many of which are still under construction. Maybe I’ll make a small gallery for the afternoon, but don’t have time to now and not sure I have enough decent pictures to make one anyway!

It’s a pity I couldn’t get any closer to most of these houses, or if I could the view wasn’t so interesting, but I find the sheer scale amazing.

A closer view of a previously photographed house, posted earlier:

I love what they do with all the shaped, evenly spaced trees and bushes. Nicely framed. ~V~
