Fortress

We came across this neighborhood one evening on our way back home from a supermarket, and I was so intrigued by a gate I wanted to go back and see more. It’s not as upscale a neighborhood as the one I photographed last year, but I always find it interesting to see how people live here.

Another palace, taking up what looks to be a square block.

I see some problems on Pbase have been resolved, but wow, it's taking up to a minute to upload a single comment. I sure hope they get everything fixed soon because I simply don't have that kind of time!

The fourth and last in this series of doors, posted earlier:

This does look like a fortress - the palm trees (again) really soften the scene V

Great pov and composition for this full of tones fortress, Helen. Very safe to live in there except for the rain and thunderstrom. VvV

This one looks like a prison to me. Who are the invaders that need to be kept at bay? Spot on photography, Helen. V

Oh God, this is a real fortress. Love the POV. With that lines palmtrees it has a more gentle look.
