The Palais Bahia, or Palace of the Favorite, was built by two powerful grand viziers at the end of the 19th century. This will be a relatively short gallery featuring mainly the elaborate ceilings, which were different in every apartment we visited. In some of them I had an awfully hard time trying to fix the distortion, but I hope the ceilings speak for themselves!
