On the road, Sahara to Ouarzazate

We spent most of the day driving from the Sahara, in southeastern Morocco, to Ouarzazate, our somewhat boring stop for the night before reaching Marrakech.

We saw gates like this everywhere in Morocco. I think sometimes they announced entry to a town, but these don’t seem to be doing that. Maybe it was a provincial boundary or something.

Three tourist busses stopping to visit with the camels, posted earlier:

Such an interesting image, especially with the graffiti. It has a sense of loneliness. V

It seems a sign of deco in this remote area and luckly with some street artson it to make the sign more dramatic. Interesting capture, Helen. V
