Baubles, The Dubai Mall

The Souk in the mall proper was filled with jewelry and carpet shops. We managed to buy a very small Persian carpet – that we totally didn’t need as we lived in Turkey for eight years and have more carpets than we can use – but it was the annual Dubai Shopping Festival and 50 percent off. So it came back to Riyadh with us… I withstood the temptation to by any jewelry.
