City block

The innovative architecture in downtown Doha was one of the big attractions of the city for me – it seemed like every building must have been approved for a unique design that would only contribute to the striking skyline because there wasn’t a boring, boxy building among them.

A city block taken from the car. I had discarded this image, then took a closer look, and thought some of the buildings were quite interesting. The building on the end in particular looked familiar, and sure enough I had seen a picture of it online https://www.flickr.com/photos/11228123@N03/3352868563/ and wondered how I had missed it. Turned out, I didn’t (well, not entirely, anyway).
