On our final day in Salalah, we traveled west of the city, towards the Yemeni border, to Al Mughsail with its beautiful, long beach, set on what Lonely Planet calls “Oman’s most spectacular bay.”

The Marneef Cave was in the Al Mughsail area, and although we didn’t go inside, we did find this sign, one of the best reminders I’ve ever seen at a tourist attraction.
