Stop before you enter

This is one of several massive gates along this road, one of which I tried to photograph in the past, but there was just too much security for a good shot. We figured that one led to a prince’s palace on the top of the hill. This gate had only a stoplight and barrier, so perhaps it goes to a lesser person’s residence.

'lesser' must be relative in SA...that is still imposing security...it seems the wealthy need heavy protection...
