Al Sheeh Garden revisted

I had last visited Al Sheeh Garden more than a year ago (how can time be going so quickly here!) at a very different time of day. I hadn’t been able to take many pictures then as there were Saudi families picnicking on the lawn, but this time the park was empty except for a man and his two dogs we ran into (below with Sahraa).

I’m posting this particular picture to illustrate just how urban most of these gardens really are (instead of a nicer view of the fountain with just palm trees in the background). In the distance is the Algerian Embassy, and in the water is Sahraa.

Looks like Sahraa is enjoying the water in the fountain, Helen. Very nice scene too! BV

Funny how a different POV can make such a difference in appearance. It's nice that the garden is surrounded by houses.
