Al Sabaa Garden

This Al Sabaa Garden, situated way out on the edge of the DQ and ingeniously fit into a narrow but irregular piece of land overlooking the wadi. I thought it was charming and very nicely done, and I would bet that not a single person I know here even is aware of its existence. It was terraced and full of what I think was aloe, and just a very pleasant place to visit.

The park is actually built in a horseshoe shape along a bend in the wadi and extends out onto this outcrop. The barbed wire marks the boundary of the DQ.

A more conventional view of the garden:

The park is in sharp contrast to the surrounding environment. The view is very lovely. V

Neat shot showing the edge of the park against the harsh environment - as well as that impenetrable looking fence V

the steep sided wadi has indeed been well used; slight pity about odd bits of razor wire intruding into odd corners
