This is the contemporary fountain in Hajer Garden which has been under repair for quite some time. This morning, when I took Sahraa out for a walk, the scaffolding was gone and the water was running. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a camera with me so am posting an old picture -- taken three days after we arrived in Saudi Arabia -- until I can get back there prepared. Of course, they will have turned the water off by then ;-).
I talked to Tim and am going to go see him in the hospital as soon as I can get out of here. He feels OK but the redness from the poisonous insect bite, while better, isn’t gone despite the heavy course of antibiotics they have been giving him. The doctor said maybe he’d be released around Tuesday. I am hoping it’s before that.
I’ll have to catch up with commenting later, but thanks to everybody for your good wishes about Tim’s recovery.
