The six images posted today were shot from the car on a trip with our friends from Reykjavik to Snæfellsjökull National Park in West Iceland. I was fascinated by the volcanic mountains, and that was mainly what we saw for the first part of the trip. The author of a book on Icelandic horses that I bought said about a particular phenomenon of the landscape that it's found in only two places: Iceland, and Mars.
