Out for a walk, and a camel conversation

This was a group of mothers and babies sauntering through the souk that I just happened to catch. I am including a short video taken by Tim of one of the camel pens that I forgot to post with the appropriate picture, illustrating the racket they can make. It’s odd, but some camels are more interested in attention, while others have a lot to say. These were definitely talkative camels.

The modern desert! Camels are one of my favourite animals - am enjoying these photos.

I wonder if they have a keen sense of smell as it seems they lift their noses up as if trying to pick up scents. They are very interesting animals.
