Another view of Kingdom Centre

I just loved this unusually shaped building visible from just about all parts of Riyadh. As I mentioned before, this was our ostensible destination, but once our driver realized that my goal wasn't shopping here but rather taking pictures. he really got into the spirit of things, finding good places from which to shoot (usually from the SUV, not van as I have been calling it ;-)) and pulling over when possible or at least slowing down so I could get some shots. I sure hope we can have more outings with him!

A great shot of this spectacular building - surprising that your driver is so cooperative with photography being frowned on. V

Sounds like you have a wonderful driver. I liked David's description of this building looking like a Saudi dress. V

it has a no fuss design, a bit like an abstraction of someone in Saudi dress..it seems you are coping well with the huge photo challenges in that country..

Good that you have a helpful driver to find interesting buildings. But this seems to be a potato peeler...

interesting alternation between individual bold statements and reflections of others' statements. I think if I worked there you would have a coloured aldis lamp signalling coloured SOS messages from one of the windows
