Gaudí's home at Parc Güell

Gaudí purchased and lived in this show-home from 1905 to 1925; it is now known as the Gaudí House Museum. The architect was Francesc Berenguer, who made liberal and unusual use of sgraffito on the exterior.

Beautiful color and very effective composition with those strong diagonals intersecting the vertical tower. This looks almost conventional compared to Gaudi's own designs. V
