The attic’s structure is totally different to that of the rest of the building, as it is designed as a continuous floor measuring 800 meters square, without columns or walls that interrupt circulation. Gaudí created the attic from 270 arches of different height, width and layout that generate a constant spatial change and which appear to be inspired by the diaphragm of a huge animal or the inside of a cave.
