Keukenhof: Holland classic

This is the only windmill I got to go into in Holland -- it just wasn't possible to see any more further afield. But it was fascinating, and it was working. They are certainly magnificent structures. This particular mill was built in 1892 and situated in Groningen and was donated to Keukenhof by the Holland America Line (if I understand correctly).

The overcast skies eliminated glare on those colorful tulips and the color really pops. Lovely composition. Voted.
