There are more than 400 painters at the Herend manufactory, and I always find it the most interesting part of the operation.

This man is working in the master painters' section, where the artists have sort of rooms and are surrounded by pictures of their work and some of the objects they have created. Only master painters are allowed to sign their work at Herend.
