City walls and tower

Warsaw is one of the few European capitals where a large part of the old city wall still survives. I don't actually know if this is original or not, but it appears it might have been reconstructed.

Excellent capture, Helen.
The wall in Old Town was partly destroyed from bombing during the WW II.
Although now it is a reconstruction, there are still original parts in the bottom level and you can see how the ancient town looked like while surrounded by the wall.
