Things I'll remember: the water everywhere

Stockholm is called the "Venice of the North," and with good reason. The city stretches over 14 islands, and high-rise suburbs go almost all the way out to the country palaces. I loved the water, bridges and ferries and the beauty of it all on a sunny day.

These rapids, part of the Baltic Sea, were next to the Parliament building (not shown), and this man was fishing. Right in the middle of the city!
