This street is claimed to be one of Gdańsk's finest, with lovely old homes lining both sides and musicians continuously giving concerts. The buildings are indeed nice, but the street is full of amber dealers, both in stores and on the cobblestones, which ends up being a bit too much. I did find a nice shop recommended as one of Poland's two best by the Eyewitness guide to Poland, but other than that I preferred to keep away from here, as much as I like amber.
