CHURCH OF ST. ANNE (17th century)

This is the beginning of a sub-gallery of the many fabulous churches in Kraków. I took an enormous number of pictures as it became a challenge to see as many of them as we could. Kraków is actually known for its large number of churches; there are at least 40 in the Old Quarter alone (and we went further afield than that). Each one is different, all are magnificent. And it was very rare that any church was totally empty, with either tourists or people praying or both. Often there were services going on, which made it a bit difficult to take pictures.

Very nice detailed shot of this ornate facade. The shadows add depth. Very clear and sharp. "V"
