We wanted to see the Treasury, which was closing in 10 minutes (we thought) so rushed to get there on time. In the midst of it, my husband saw somebody he knew, who wanted to introduce him to a visiting dignitary. I continued on the the Treasury and failed to focus on the fact that the church was lit up because of the visitor (and figured the lights were just on). My husband met the speaker of the Australian parliament, I saw the Treasury (spectacular but no photos allowed) and the lights were off when I got back downstairs. Need to time a visit when some other personage is there!
