Royal Palace and Castle Museum

The first time we visited the basilica, we decided not to go to this museum, which is right next door, as it looked to be some modern brick place and not that interesting. But after seeing the actual palace (with which the brick building is integrated) from down the hill, I looked into it and thought it might be worth a visit. It was, but not as fascinating as some of the other palaces and castles we've been to, plus a lot of it seemed closed, like the famed chapel. Perhaps we didn't see it because we weren't on a guided tour, but I must admit I came away a bit disappointed with the place.
