Fertőszéplak, Széchenyi Castle

This is where Count Ferenc Széchenyi, the father of the famous István Széchenyi, was born, in 1754. We really stumbled across this by accident; there was a lot in front so we parked the car there to go across the street to see the church. Then we discovered we had parked in a famous place. There is no end of surprises in these small Hungarian towns.
