The monumental Eger Cathedral (1831-7)

A combination of Neo-Classical and Neo-Romanesque styles, Eger Cathedral is the second largest church in Hungary and is an astonishing sight to behold. It was designed by József Hild, who also did the famous basilica at Estergom http://www.pbase.com/helenpb/esztergom_basilica which is even larger.
