We came across this spectacular building -- my favorite of all we saw -- quite by chance; something else had caught my attention down a side street from the sort-of-walking-tour we were following (except that we never followed it) and suddenly Beregi-ház came into sight. I don't yet know its original purpose or what it's used for now, but I do know that it was built in 1903.
