BMW Isetta

BMW started production of these microcars in 1955 and discontinued it shortly thereafter.

The Isetta was quite common in the UK in the 1960s and 1970s, and they were affectionately known as bubble cars. They didn't have the BMW brand associated with them at the time. A high school friend bought one secondhand, and on his driving test he went down a very steep hill and made a very hard right hand turn, the car rolled completely over and back on to its wheels, and he continued on, like nothing had happened. Needless to say he failed the test.

O lookie there, a Knutschkugel as we call it in German.- roughly translates as "Make out sphere" because you can squeeze your girl into it and let the close confines do the trick... Nicely captured, vote!
