Small can be nice

Many of the houses on Capitol Hill are three to four-storey brick Victorians, but occasionally you run across these smaller homes. I had read somewhere that there are old slave quarters on East Capitol, and that they are quite small compared to the other homes on that grand avenue. I believe that is where I took this image, but am not sure these were slave quarters, most likely just small houses in a different style.

These are quite interesting. They'd make for a pleasant alternative to a small apartment. Though I imagine they are expensive. Thanks for posting these.
