This house caught my eye not only because of the shades on the windows (a throwback to the past around here when people had awnings over their front doors) but also because of the wood siding.

I think it is cute to have some awnings on homes and apartments. My cousin has awnings on her house and they make the house look so adorable. I have been thinking about getting them for my home because they protect the sun pretty well.
