The four-day Mesterségek Ünnepe, or Festival of Folk Arts, takes up a huge part of Buda Castle and is quite interesting to attend, and in fact attracts an incredibly large crowd. We went last year right after we moved to Budapest, but I really didn't know what I was looking at. This time I did, even recognizing inflated prices for embroidery. We saw some of the same artisans and even a furniture maker from Mezőkövesd who we had met on one of our many trips there. All in all, it was a lovely afternoon despite the heat.
