dado jig

I made this jig years ago and it's starting to show its age. But it's useful when cutting dados in
long stock. Long narrow pieces are are dangerous to cut dados in on the table saw, so this is the
solution. The router is used and guided along an edge, and a couple of passes are all it takes.
It's hard to see here, but in this shot both side panels are laid together and cut at the same time.
This not only makes the work quicker, but it ensures that the locations are exactly the same on both.
