This shot is obligatory. Every project starts the same way: with a truck load of raw materials.
Here we have 2 sheets of 3/4" cherry plywood, 2 sheets of 1/2" cherry ply (3 more are back ordered),
1 sheet of 1/4" cherry ply, 28 board feet of beautiful red oak, 12 board feet of poplar, and
24 lineal feet of 2x3 douglass fir, which will be used as the legers along the walls.

Yeah... and no shop cat inspector. Sad. Still miss that little girl. Work starts tomorrow.
