The classical view of Stevns Klint is beside the scenic village of Højerup. This is where the old church lost its chancel with the cliff collapse of 1928 – despite the saying that the church makes a tiny steps towards land each Christmas Eve. At this point, the cliff rises 30 metres high, but the beach can be reached by solid steps, and in clear weather there is a beautiful view to the island of Møn.
