Krabi is a province in the south of Thailand. Typical for the region are the tropical rain forest and rubber plantations, fields growing cashew nut, coconut and tropical fruits such as pineapple and durian. The provice is also famous for it's heavy limestone rock formations, caves and natural springs. The most well known beach in Krabi is Ao Nang. It is not the nicest, but it provides easy access (via boats) to some of the most beautiful islands and beaches nearby (such as Railay beach & Poda Island). We recently visited these places via a road trip up north into Thailand. It was a short 3 days 2 nights holiday with significant amount of time spend on road travelling. Nevertheless the attractive scenery raises no doubt for sea and sun lovers. And for photography, the boundaries are endless. Please enjoy the photos!
